Bear Archery Take Down #1 Limb Phenolic With Black Glass Traditional Bow

Meet the Bear Archery Take Down, the iconic traditional recurve that helped shape modern archery. First introduced by Fred Bear more than 50 years ago, this takedown bow blends classic style with dependable performance for hunters and traditional archers who appreciate a clean, confident shot. The #1 limb set in phenolic with black glass delivers a bold look and a smooth, responsive feel that inspires trust at full draw. Built around the signature heel horn style grip, the Take Down offers a deep, natural hand position that helps promote consistent grip and repeatable shooting. The arrow shelf sits 1/8 inch above the grip, supporting a closer-to-hand arrow path and more consistent arrow flight. Choose the hand orientation and riser style that fits your setup, with options designed for both A and B length configurations. This is a bow for archers who value tradition, craftsmanship, and field-ready performance in one timeless design. Whether you are refining your skills or carrying forward a legacy, the Bear Take Down delivers the feel and character that make every shot memorable.
