Berger VLD Hunting 6mm .243 105gr Boat Tail Bullets 100 Count

The Berger VLD Hunting 105-grain boat tail hollow point is a reloading bullet in .243 caliber (6mm), sold in a box of 100. It is built on Berger's Very Low Drag match design, with a high ballistic coefficient intended for shots of 300 yards or more.

The bullet has a copper jacket over a lead core, a hollow point, and a boat tail. Its diameter is .243 inch, its weight is 105 grains, and its overall length is about 1.22 inches. Berger lists a sectional density of 0.254 and a ballistic coefficient of 0.532, and recommends a twist rate of 1 in 8 or faster. The bullets are non-coated.

The bullet is made for .243 Winchester and 6mm rifles. Berger recommends seating it to touch the rifling for best accuracy, which may make the loaded cartridge too long for some magazines.
