Berry's Manufacturing Superior 40 S&W/10mm 180gr Flat Point Plated Bullets 500 Count

Berry s Manufacturing Superior Features The Berry s Superior plated bullet line starts with a swaged lead core that is electroplated with copper all the way to final weight a process that fully encloses the lead rather than simply coating the surface. This method leaves no exposed lead which makes these 180 grain .401 diameter projectiles a practical choice for shooters at indoor ranges with lead exposure restrictions. After plating each bullet is re-struck to precise dimensional specifications a step that strengthens the bond between the copper jacket and the lead core for more consistent performance from round to round. The flat point profile offers predictable feeding in revolvers and many semi-automatic .40 SW and 10mm platforms alike. Because these are component bullets rather than loaded ammunition they are intended strictly for handloaders assembling their own .40 SW or 10mm cartridges not for direct firing. Reloaders who favor Berry s plated line often cite the consistency of bullet weight and diameter from batch to batch a result of the company s swage and re-strike process. Supplying 500 bullets per package suits high volume reloaders who load in bulk for practice competition or general range use without constantly restocking projectiles.
