The Birchwood Casey NM500 Steel Target is a 10-inch round gong designed for hanging and striking with centerfire rifle and handgun ammunition. It is intended for practice and plinking, and it produces a clear ring when hit solidly.
The target is made from NM500 steel, a 1/2-inch thick plate with a white powder-coat finish that improves shot visibility. The face is black with red and white markings. It has square mounting holes and a double hang hole design, and it is rated for 223 Remington, 308 Winchester, 9mm Luger, and 45 ACP.
