Description
The Birchwood Casey Duracap Action Proving Dummy Round is a non-firing training round used to check feeding, chambering, extraction, and ejection in a 308 Winchester firearm. It is also suited to safety training and dry-fire practice, where a live round would be undesirable.
Each dummy is CNC machined from solid aluminum and hard anodized for smooth cycling. A durable rubber firing pin impact buffer protects the firing pin from damage during repeated dry firing. Precision dimensions are intended for reliable performance, and laser markings aid identification.
The package contains 4 rounds, chambered in 308 Winchester. The red finish makes dummies easy to tell apart from live ammunition during storage and handling.
