Bootleg Smuggler Stripped AR-15 Lower Receiver 223 Rem/5.56 NATO Ambidextrous Black

The Bootleg Smuggler is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined from 7075 billet aluminum, designed to pair with Bootleg's own upper receiver for a matched build, and it is ready to accept any mil-spec lower parts kit. It is chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO and is a semi-automatic platform.

The receiver weighs 9.85 ounces and carries a mil-spec hard anodized black finish. It is ambidextrous, with an ambidextrous bolt release knob and the parts needed for installation. A hex head adjustable set screw allows the builder to tune the fit of the rear takedown lug against a mil-spec upper receiver. Hex-headed threaded pins secure the bolt release knobs in place of roll pins, and a hex set screw retains the rear takedown detent spring. The lower has a fully enclosed trigger guard and a lightly flared magwell.
