Description
The Bravo Company BCM A2X is a black phosphate-finished flash hider for AR-15 style rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is an extended version of the A2 flash hider used on M16 and M4 series carbines, intended to reduce muzzle flash during firing.
The muzzle device is machined from 4150 steel and uses a 1/2"-28 tpi thread pitch. It is pre-drilled at the base for a dowel pin and includes a crush washer for permanent installation. The raw retailer text notes that permanent mounting on a 14.5" M4 barrel can bring the overall length above 16.1", and that installation should be performed by a qualified gunsmith familiar with BATFE regulations.
