Description
The Spikes Tactical AR-15 A2 Flash Hider is a muzzle device for AR-15 rifles that uses the A2 birdcage design to reduce muzzle flash. Its ported steel construction is intended to disperse flash while keeping the device compact and simple.
The flash hider is made from steel and finished in Mil-Spec heavy phosphate for corrosion resistance. It measures 1.75 inches overall, weighs 2.2 ounces, and uses a 1/2x28 thread pattern. It is black in color.
It is designed for AR-15 rifles chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO and is installed by threading it onto the muzzle. A Mil-Spec crush washer is included for timing and secure installation.
