Description
The KAK Industry A2 Birdcage is a flash hider for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It follows the classic A2 birdcage pattern, which vents gas and reduces visible muzzle flash so the shooter can keep a clearer sight picture after firing.
The device is made of heat-treated steel with a black phosphate finish that adds corrosion resistance. It measures 1.75 inches in overall length and weighs 2.1 ounces, keeping total rifle length close to factory specifications. Milled flats provide a grip for installation with an armorer's wrench.
It threads onto AR-15 barrels with a 1/2x28 muzzle thread pitch. A crush washer is needed separately to index and time the device properly.
