Description
The Bravo Company MCMR 8-inch free float handguard is an AR-15 handguard built on the M-LOK mounting platform, designed to give the shooter modular attachment points along the forend. It is intended for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO.
The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodizing per Mil-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2. Its overall length is 8.14 inches, with a 1.3-inch inside diameter and a 1.5-inch width. The handguard and mounting hardware weigh 2.3 ounces. A steel barrel nut resists movement under heat, and the free float design keeps the handguard from contacting the barrel. A BCM M-LOK compatible sling mount is included.
