Brownells AR-308 Carbine Buffer Silver 3.8 oz

Brownells AR-308 Carbine Buffer Features The Brownells AR-308 Carbine Buffer weighs 3.8 ounces and is built specifically for the larger frame AR-308 platform where correct buffer mass plays a key role in reliable cycling under the higher pressures of .308 sized cartridges. Its aluminum case houses steel weights a construction method that provides the necessary mass in a compact durable package. Consistent buffer weight helps regulate bolt carrier velocity reducing excess wear on internal components and improving felt recoil. The silver finish gives the buffer a clean functional appearance that matches typical AR-308 hardware. This buffer is sized to fit carbine length buffer tubes on AR-308 pattern rifles making it a direct fit for builders completing a new upper and lower combination or servicing an existing gun. Because AR-308 platforms run different pressures and dynamics than standard AR-15 builds using a buffer designed specifically for the larger frame helps ensure correct function from the start. Builders replacing a damaged or incorrect buffer will find this a straightforward swap requiring no additional parts. Brownells manufactures this buffer to standards that support dependable repeatable cycling in AR-308 carbine length builds.
