Brownells AR-15 Buffer Retainer Spring Steel

Brownells AR-15 Buffer Retainer Spring Features The Brownells AR-15 Buffer Retainer Spring is a steel replacement spring that works together with the buffer retainer to hold the buffer and action spring securely inside the lower receiver. Without proper spring tension the retainer can fail to hold the buffer in place leading to malfunctions during firing. This spring is manufactured to fit standard AR-15 lower receivers making it a straightforward drop-in replacement for a worn or broken original. Keeping this small part in good condition is essential to the overall reliability of the buffer system. Built from steel for durability this spring is designed as a direct replacement on any standard AR-15 platform rifle. It is an inexpensive part worth keeping on hand as a spare since a failed retainer spring can otherwise sideline a rifle until repaired. Whether servicing a well-used AR-15 or assembling a parts build this spring completes the buffer retainer assembly. The Brownells AR-15 Buffer Retainer Spring is a small part that plays a critical role in keeping your rifle running reliably.
