Brownells Chamber Flex Hone .30-06 Springfield 800 Grit

Brownells Chamber Hone Features The Brownells .30-06 Springfield Chamber Hone at 800 grit is designed to follow a coarser hone or serve as the finishing pass on an already smooth chamber. Its silicon carbide abrasive balls mounted on a flexible twisted steel shaft work the chamber walls to a fine polish that reduces friction during extraction. This finer grit is well suited to shooters chasing the last bit of smoothness after an initial 400 grit pass has already addressed heavier scoring. The result is a chamber that releases spent cases more consistently especially under rapid or repeated fire. Brownells specifies use with Flex Hone oil to protect the chamber surface and ensure the abrasive works as intended and instructions are included for straightforward use. This hone rounds out a chamber maintenance routine for .30-06 rifles giving shooters a way to fine-tune extraction performance without gunsmithing equipment. It is a useful tool for anyone who has already addressed rough spots and wants to polish the chamber further. Precision shooters and hunters alike can benefit from the smoother more reliable cycling this hone helps deliver.
