Equally at home hunting upland birds or shooting clays, the Browning Citori Feather Lightning Over/Under Shotgun offers proven Citori performance in a lightweight over and under that looks like a piece of art. Like all Citori's, this sharp-looking shotgun offers shooters mechanical excellence that points like an extension of your index finger. An elegant design as beautiful as it is well-crafted, this gun's lightweight alloy receiver and steel trigger guard feature a eye-catching silver nitride finish and intricate, broad coverage engraving. A lightning-style stock made of gloss oil-finished, Grade III/IV black walnut with checkering on the grip and forend ends in an Inflex 2 recoil pad designed to pull the comb down and away from the shooter's face after the shot, creating greater comfort and allowing for faster follow-up shots. Lighter than many of its fellow Citori models, the Feather Lightning delivers the same superior performance and durability from an easy-shooting design you can shoulder and swing quickly and fluidly. This gun utilizes a steel breech face and hinge pin with transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolts. These bolts engage a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs that allow the bolts to seat deeper over the years so the action never gets sloppy. Corrosion-resistant, chrome-plated chambers resist the toll thousands of shells can take on a gun, while the gun's back-bored barrel delivers higher shot velocity, reduced recoil, and improved patterns. The blued barrels come topped with a 1/4" rib equipped with an ivory bead sight and mid-bead for fast target acquisition. Chambered for shells up to 3".
