Description
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 270 Winchester, intended for hunting in woods and mountain terrain as well as use at the range. It is built on a redesigned X-Bolt 2 receiver with an added bolt guidance surface for smooth cycling, and the bolt features spiral fluting and a new handle knob to reduce weight.
The rifle has a 24-inch sporter-contour stainless steel barrel with an M13x0.75 threaded muzzle, an overall length of 44 inches, and a weight of 7.05 pounds. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated. The DLX three-lever trigger is factory set at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds. The rifle holds 3 rounds and has no sights.
The package includes a radial muzzle brake and a thread protector cap. An optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake is available for additional recoil reduction.
