Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter LR 6.8 Western 26" 5+1 Bolt Action Rifle

Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter LR Features The Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter LR is chambered in 6.8 Western a cartridge built for long-range big game hunting and backs it with the Plus Magazine System for extra cartridge capacity over a standard magazine. The sporter contour 26 barrel balances weight savings with the accuracy long shots demand and its belled threaded 5/8x24 muzzle accepts a suppressor or the included radial muzzle brake to tame recoil. A non-reflective matte blued finish keeps the barreled action from flashing in open country where game can spot movement and glare at distance. The redesigned receiver and extended bolt handle with an ergonomic knob shape make the action smoother and faster to run between shots at a moving target. The Vari-Tech stock in Browning OVIX camouflage is adjustable for length of pull comb height and features interchangeable grip modules with overmolded surfaces letting the hunter tailor the fit precisely to their build and shooting position. An aluminum Picatinny rail on the forend adds bipod mounting without drilling or aftermarket parts useful for hunters who shoot from a prone or supported rest at range. The adjustable Deluxe trigger lets the shooter set pull weight to preference and the X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for a rock-solid optic mount under recoil. A 1-1/4 Inflex recoil pad rounds out the package softening the felt recoil of the 6.8 Western cartridge for long days glassing and stalking big game.
