It retains the lightweight and maneuverable qualities of its predecessor, thanks to the fluted sporter contour barrel. The Speed SPR maintains the high-performance features of the Speed rifle and is optimized for use with an optional suppressor. The shorter fluted sporter contour barrel is specifically designed to keep the overall length manageable when using a suppressor. It features a belled muzzle to accommodate the larger 5/8-24 Suppressor-ready threading and includes a radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap. For additional recoil reduction, you can easily add the optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake. The action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated for consistent accuracy, while the cerakote Smoked Bronze finish on the action and barrel provides superior metal protection. The DLX trigger enhances shooting precision with its three-lever design, offering zero creep, zero take-up and zero overtravel. Factory preset at 3.5 lb, it's adjustable down to 3.0 lb. The Vari-Tech composite stock is lightweight and offers three-way adjustment, featuring Browning OVIX concealment for effective blending in various terrains. A thicker Inflex recoil pad ensures comfort during extended shooting sessions. With its customizable Vari-Tech stock, this rifle allows adjustments to comb height for optimal alignment with optics and internal spacers for a solid, rattle-free length of pull. Switching between sporter and vertical grip modules adjusts grip angle, while rubber over molding on the gripping surfaces enhances grip security in all conditions.
