Butler Creek Flip-Open Scope Cover #14 Eyepiece 40.8mm Black

The Butler Creek Flip-Open #14 Eyepiece is a black polymer scope cover designed to protect a rifle scope's rear ocular lens from dust, moisture and contact damage. A spring-loaded push button opens the cover quickly with a thumb, so the optic can be kept covered until a shot is ready.

The cover is sized for an eyepiece with a 1.605 in (40.8 mm) outside diameter and uses a slip-on friction mount with a semi O-ring to hold it in place and help seal out debris. Because fit depends on the scope, the manufacturer recommends checking the owner's manual or measuring the eyepiece outside diameter with calipers and comparing it to the sizing chart.

Butler Creek lists this model as the #14 eyepiece cover, and it is sold as a single flip-open cover for compatible rear eyepieces.
