Description
The Butler Creek Flip-Open Objective Scope Cover in size #27 is a black polymer cap that protects a riflescope's objective lens from dust, moisture and scratches when the scope is not in use. It is designed to be opened quickly with a thumb for a shot.
This cover is sized for objective lenses with a 46.70mm tube diameter and fits as a slip-on mount. Two finger tabs extend from both sides of the cap so it can be opened by right- or left-handed shooters. The cover is listed for a 47mm objective.
Before buying, confirm fit by checking the scope's owner's manual or by measuring the outside diameter of the objective tube with calipers. Choose a cover that is 0.01 to 0.025 inches (0.25 to 0.64mm) larger than the measured diameter.
