Browning ~ 1895 ~ .30-06 Spr

(SKU: 5370999) This Browning Model 1895 lever-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield is a clean example of one of Browning's most iconic sporting rifles. The rifle appears to be in very good condition with strong bluing, attractive wood furniture, and only light handling marks consistent with careful use. Included with the rifle is the original box, adding additional appeal for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Designed by legendary firearms inventor John Moses Browning, the Model 1895 was the last lever-action rifle design he created for Winchester and was one of the first lever guns strong enough to handle modern smokeless powder cartridges. Browning's reproduction of the 1895 brought this historic design back for modern shooters, retaining the distinctive box magazine and classic lines that made the original famous.
