Description
Steeped in over a century of history and refined for the field, this rifle is built on a historic Spanish Model 1893 Mauser bolt-action receiver displaying a clear 1908 factory date stamp from the renowned Fabrica de Armas factory in Oviedo. Chambered in the legendary, flat-shooting 7x57mm Mauser cartridge, the firearm features its original factory markings alongside a period-correct military replacement barrel boasting a semi-bright bore with strong, distinct rifling. Clearly marked for safety and commercial export, the barrel features an official "7mm" caliber designation alongside a traditional six-pointed Spanish proof house star located just under the rear sight. Thoughtfully converted into a classic sporter configuration, this unique firearm pairs a streamlined, fast-handling wood stock with a turned-down bolt handle for smooth, rapid cycling. Retaining its traditional barrel-mounted rear sight ramp, this vintage bolt-action firearm serves as an exceptional, character-rich choice for deer hunting, vintage firearms enthusiasts, or collectors of classic military conversions.
