Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian in 7mm PRC is a bolt-action rifle built for long-range hunting with a magnum cartridge. Its graphite black Cerakote finish covers the barrel, receiver, bolt, and safety for corrosion resistance. The rifle has no factory sights and is designed to be fitted with mounted optics.
The 24-inch #2 contour barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices such as a brake or suppressor. The stainless steel receiver is drilled and tapped. The black synthetic Monte Carlo stock and the three-position safety complete the rifle, which weighs 7.5 pounds and measures 44.5 inches overall.
The magazine holds three rounds, with a hinged floorplate for fast unloading. A cable trigger lock is included.
