Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, built for hunting and long-range shooting. It has a cold hammer forged 24-inch barrel with a 1:8 twist rate, suited to heavier, higher-ballistic-coefficient projectiles. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for a suppressor or muzzle device, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics.
The rifle has a two-stage adjustable trigger and a three-position safety. It uses a black synthetic stock with a raised comb and a 13.50-inch length of pull. The blued steel finish is paired with the stock. It weighs 7.5 pounds, measures 44.5 inches overall, and holds three rounds. Sights are not included.
