Description
The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT is a right-handed, bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC, built for hunters and shooters who want a light, carbon fiber rifle for field use. It has a chocolate brown Cerakote finish and ships without iron sights, so it is intended for mounting an optic.
The rifle has a 22-inch threaded barrel and an overall length of 44 inches. It weighs 6.13 pounds and holds 3 rounds. The bolt can be field stripped without tools and uses an M16-style extractor. The trigger is an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger, and the receiver includes a PEAK 44 picatinny rail.
The stock is a PEAK 44 Bastion carbon fiber design that the description calls its lightest production vertical grip stock, at about 24 ounces. It has an ambidextrous palm swell, a thumb groove, and dual sling studs on the forend for sling options.
