Parker-Hale Model 1000 243 Winchester Bolt-Action Rifle

The Parker-Hale Model 1000 is a classic British-made bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. Built on the proven Mauser-style action that helped establish Parker-Hale's reputation for quality sporting arms, the Model 1000 features a walnut stock with checkered grip surfaces, iron sights, and drilled-and-tapped receiver mounts for optics. Serial number S-34472 appears consistent with production from the 1960s to early 1970s, although an exact manufacture date could not be confirmed. This example remains in very good overall condition for its age. The metal finish shows strong original coverage with moderate wear visible, while the walnut stock retains an attractive appearance with minor field marks consistent with normal use. The bore and action appear well cared for.
