(SKU: 4825666) The Remington 700 chambered in .35 Whelen is a classic bolt-action hunting rifle known for its strength, reliability, and excellent field performance on larger game. This example appears to be in very good overall condition, featuring an attractive walnut stock with checkering, a matte blued barrel and receiver, and only light handling marks consistent with normal use. Introduced in 1962, the Remington 700 quickly became one of the most successful bolt-action rifle designs ever produced, earning a reputation for accuracy and a strong action that has made it a favorite among hunters, target shooters, and custom rifle builders alike. The .35 Whelen cartridge, standardized by Remington in 1988, is well regarded for delivering hard-hitting performance on elk, moose, bear, and other large North American game.
