Description
The Rock Island Armory M1911-A1 FS (Full-Size) is a single-action, recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP that faithfully reproduces the classic "GI" military design with modern manufacturing refinements. Built from 4140 ordnance steel for both the frame and slide, finished with a durable black parkerized coating for corrosion resistance and a non-reflective military look. Widely recognized as one of the best "budget-friendly" 1911s, offering comparable reliability to more expensive brands at a significantly lower cost.
