The Ruger P345 is a semi-automatic, .45 Auto pistol that represents a significant ergonomic shift from Ruger's earlier, bulkier "P-Series" models. Produced between 2004 and 2013, it was designed to be a sleeker, more concealable duty or personal defense firearm, incorporating a lightweight polymer frame and several modern safety features. The P345 features an exclusive Ruger Cam block design. This system uses a cam-ramped lug to stop the barrel's rearward motion, transferring recoil energy directly into the frame to reduce felt kick.
