SMITH &WESSON ~ 669 ~ 9MM LUGER

Smith & Wesson Model 669 9mm Stainless Pistol Excellent Condition The Smith & Wesson Model 669 is one of the more distinctive and collectible second-generation Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistols. Chambered in 9mm and built with a stainless steel slide and alloy frame, the 669 was designed as a compact double-stack duty and concealed carry pistol before the widespread adoption of polymer-framed handguns. This example presents in excellent condition and appears exceptionally clean throughout. The stainless finish remains attractive with very limited visible handling wear, and the original black wraparound grip panels remain in excellent shape. The pistol includes one factory magazine and retains the classic Smith & Wesson slide-mounted safety/decocker system. The Model 669 is the compact counterpart to the well-known Model 659 and has developed a following among Smith & Wesson collectors due to its limited production period and connection to the company's second-generation semi-auto line. These pistols are well regarded for their reliability, traditional double-action operation, and all-metal construction. The photos show sharp markings, clean controls, excellent finish quality, and an overall appearance consistent with careful ownership. The pistol would make an excellent addition for a Smith & Wesson collector or anyone looking for a classic all-metal 9mm.
