Winchester ~ 1886 Takedown ~ .45-70 Gov't

For your consideration, a Winchester model 1886 takedown rifle chambered in .45-70 Government. The furniture has been hand carved and tooled with an elk bull at left, a bear and a previous owner's initials at right, and floral scrollwork. This piece dates to 1904.
