Specifications
Description
The Caldwell AR500 5" Rimfire/Handgun Gong is a yellow steel target designed for rimfire and non-magnum handgun calibers, including 22 LR. It is made from AR500 steel and laser cut for consistent shape.
The 1/4" plate is lighter than thicker centerfire-rated gongs, so it moves more when struck and produces a distinct ring, even with lower-energy shots. The raw listing states the plate is rated for tens of thousands of rounds without damage.
Use this gong only with rimfire and non-magnum handgun ammunition. Caldwell's listing mentions a lifetime guarantee, which is not verified here.
