Caldwell Matrix Rifle Shooting Rest

The Caldwell Matrix is a shooting rest designed to support a rifle at the front and rear for stable aiming from a bench or similar surface. Its u-channel frame adjusts in length to suit different firearms, and it can be converted into a compact front rest by removing the rear portion of the frame.

The rest has a spring-loaded tension mechanism and a height adjustment knob that allow one-handed elevation changes. Over-molded front and rear supports are intended to protect the firearm's finish while holding it firmly. A storage area behind the front cradle includes a removable lid that adds clearance for detachable magazines or bipod-equipped firearms, and it serves as a rubberized rear support for handguns when left in place.
