The 8.3-inch barrel with a 1:12 twist rate is optimized for reliable performance while the threaded barrel (1/2x28) with a birdcage flash hider allows for the attachment of suppressors and muzzle devices. Equipped with adjustable rear diopter sights the AP53 ensures quick and precise target acquisition. The integrated Picatinny optics mount offers compatibility with red dots and other sighting systems enhancing adaptability. Additional features include a paddle magazine release for easy reloads and an ambidextrous 2-position thumb safety making it user-friendly for both left- and right-handed shooters.
