Description
The Charles Daly 500 Field is a side-by-side double-barrel shotgun built for field use, with a 12 gauge chambering that accepts 3-inch shells. It is set up for hunting and general shooting, where a lightweight, easy-to-carry gun is an advantage.
The shotgun has a 20-inch barrel and an overall length of 37 inches, with a steel receiver finished in matte black and a walnut stock. It weighs 4.5 pounds and has a brass bead front sight, a manual safety, a single-selective trigger that lets the shooter choose which barrel fires first, and an extractor. Its capacity is two rounds.
The gun uses a Mobil choke system with five interchangeable chokes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full.
