Description

The Chiappa Rhino 60DS is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in 357 Magnum and 38 Special. Its defining feature is a low bore axis, which places the barrel below the cylinder so that the bore sits close to the shooter's hand. Chiappa states this layout is intended to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil.

The revolver has a 6-inch barrel and an overall length of 10.5 inches, with a 6-round hexagonal cylinder. The frame is aluminum alloy, and the weight is listed at 2.06 pounds. The black anodized finish is paired with an adjustable rear sight and a fiber optic front sight.

The Rhino 60DS is supplied as a single revolver. Its six-round capacity and dual-caliber chambering make it suited to shooters who want to fire either 357 Magnum or the milder 38 Special from the same cylinder.
