Chiappa Sharps 1863 NM 45-70 22" Falling-Block Rifle

Chiappa Firearms Sharps 1863 Features The Chiappa Sharps 1863 is built around a falling block single action a design that locks up tight for consistent ignition and reliable extraction of a single .45-70 round at a time. A single trigger system keeps the firing sequence simple and predictable which matters on a rifle meant to be worked deliberately rather than run fast. The hammer includes a half cock safety position giving the shooter a secure carry state between shots without lowering the hammer all the way down. The 22 round barrel is finished in a gloss blue that contrasts against the receiver giving the rifle the classic look that defined the original nineteenth century Sharps rifles it is patterned after. Sighting is handled by a fixed front sight with interchangeable blades letting the shooter tune the sight picture to different distances and light conditions backed by a rear sight that adjusts for both elevation and windage. The stock is oil hand polished walnut a finish that brings out the wood grain while standing up to handling over time. Every metal component on the rifle is CNC machined from a solid block of carbon steel a manufacturing approach that produces tight tolerances and a durable action built to last. At an overall length of 39 and a weight of 8 lbs the Chiappa Sharps 1863 handles with the heft and balance expected of a traditional single shot rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA.
