A half cock hammer safety feature adds a layer of protection when carrying the rifle afield with a round in the chamber. A checkered walnut stock with a rubber buttpad rounds out the Wildlands Field s traditional profile while improving comfort on repeated shots. Sight-wise the rifle ships with a red fiber optic front sight paired with a Skinner peep rear sight mounted on a Picatinny rail giving shooters a fast precise aiming system or the option to add an optic.
