Description
The Chiappa 1860 Spencer Carbine is a reproduction of the lever-action rifle adopted by the Union Army during the American Civil War. Its manually operated lever feeds cartridges from a tube magazine in the buttstock, a significant improvement over the muzzle-loading rifles common at the time.
This right-handed carbine has a 20-inch blued barrel, a steel receiver with a color case finish, and a walnut stock that is hand oiled. It weighs 9 pounds and holds 7 rounds of 45 Colt. Sights are an adjustable dovetail blade front and an adjustable ladder rear.
