Christensen Arms Traverse 6mm Creedmoor 24" Carbon Fiber Bolt Action Rifle

Christensen Arms Traverse Features The Christensen Arms Traverse is built around a stainless steel action and a 24 stainless barrel giving the rifle strong corrosion resistance for hunters who spend long days in wet or harsh conditions. The 1 in 8 twist rate is matched to 6mm Creedmoor s typical bullet weights stabilizing them through the transonic range so accuracy holds up at distance. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle comes standard letting the owner add a suppressor or muzzle brake without sending the barrel out for gunsmithing. That combination of a stainless barrel and a factory thread makes the Traverse an easy rifle to set up for either suppressed hunting or recoil-reduced range work straight from the box. The Black with Gray Webbing synthetic stock resists moisture and temperature swings far better than a traditional wood stock holding zero through weather changes that would otherwise shift point of impact. A thumb safety gives the shooter a fast positive way to make the rifle ready without fumbling for an unfamiliar control. Feeding from a 4+1 capacity magazine the rifle balances enough reserve capacity for follow-up shots with the weight savings that long-range hunters look for. At 7.3 lbs the Traverse stays light enough to carry comfortably on a long stalk while still offering the rigidity a stainless action and synthetic stock provide for consistent accuracy shot after shot.
