Cimarron 1860 Henry Steel Framed 45 Colt 24" Octagon Lever Action Rifle

Cimarron Firearms 1860 Henry Steel Framed Features The Cimarron 1860 Henry Steel Framed rifle recreates one of the rarest Henry repeaters ever produced the iron frame variant of which only around 400 were made in 1862 and just 167 are known to survive. Its color case hardened steel receiver carries the same richly mottled finish that made the originals so distinctive paired here with a blued 24 inch octagon barrel and blued butt plate for an authentic period look. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 12+1 round capacity the rifle cycles through its lever action with the smooth reliable function Henry rifles are known for. A 1:16 twist rate stabilizes .45 Colt loads through the octagon barrel for accurate repeatable fire. The walnut fixed stock is fitted to the full-length receiver giving the rifle the same classic profile as the scarce originals while standing up to regular range and field use. Color case hardened finishing extends to the trigger hammer and lever matching the receiver s mottled coloring for a cohesive look throughout the action. Adjustable sights allow the shooter to dial in point of impact for different loads or distances. Collectors drawn to the history behind the iron frame Henry along with cowboy action shooters wanting an authentic lever gun will find the Cimarron 1860 Henry Steel Framed rifle a faithful and capable addition to their collection.
