Cimarron Revolver, .45 Caliber, 5.5″ Barrel

The markings "Cimarron F.A. Co. Houston Texas USA" stamped on a .45 Caliber, 5.5" barrel revolver indicate a highly sought-after, early-generation production run of Cimarron's flagship Model P (1873 Peacemaker clone). While Cimarron Firearms has been headquartered in Fredericksburg, Texas since 1984, the company was originally founded by Mike Harvey in Houston, Texas in 1979. Revolvers bearing the Houston roll-mark on the barrel are vintage pieces from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s, manufactured to Cimarron's strict specifications by Aldo Uberti in Brescia, Italy.
