Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy 38-40 Win 20" Octagon 10-Round Lever Action Rifle

Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy Features The Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy is built around a smooth lever action design that has defined cowboy action shooting for generations cycling .38-40 Win rounds from a 10 round tubular magazine with quick reliable follow up shots. The 20 octagon barrel carries a 1:36 rate of twist delivering the stabilized accuracy this classic chambering is known for at typical cowboy action and hunting distances. A blade front sight provides a fast traditional sight picture that mirrors the sighting systems used on the original 19th century rifles this reproduction is patterned after. Brasslite frame construction pairs with the octagon barrel profile to give this rifle the correct historic silhouette and balance that Yellowboy shooters expect from a faithful reproduction. The brass frame is finished bright while the barrel and lever wear a durable blued finish together forming the two-tone treatment that has made the Yellowboy instantly recognizable since the 1860s. A genuine walnut stock and forend round out the furniture offering a smooth traditional feel in the hand and a classic look that synthetic stocks cannot match. At roughly 8 pounds and 39.25 inches overall the rifle is light and well balanced enough for a full day of cowboy action stages or an afternoon at the range. Built to accurate historical specifications the Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy in .38-40 Win is a fitting choice for shooters who want period-correct styling with dependable modern manufacturing behind it.
