Description
The CMC Triggers Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is a replacement carrier and bolt assembly for the AR-15 in 6mm ARC, built for shooters who run suppressed or short-barreled rifles. The flared rear of the carrier is designed to reduce carrier tilt and cant during recoil, and its relocated bearing surfaces are intended to improve reliability.
The carrier is machined from case-hardened 8620 steel with a black nitride finish. Its increased mass is intended to maintain gas pressure and extend dwell time to aid extraction. The bolt is listed as true Mil-spec dimension, with external surfaces CNC ground after heat treatment for a precision fit.
