Description
The CMMG 5.7x28mm 16.1" Barrel and BCG Kit is a replacement barrel and bolt carrier group set for the AR-15 platform, chambered in 5.7x28mm. The kit is built around CMMG's Radial Delayed Blowback operating system, which the manufacturer describes as reducing bolt carrier group weight and producing less felt recoil than a standard direct blowback design.
The barrel measures 16.1 inches, is threaded, and carries a black salt bath nitride finish. The bundle is sold as a complete kit.
The kit is designed to work with a CMMG Mk57 lower receiver or a standard AR-15 lower receiver when used with CMMG 5.7 AR conversion magazines.
