Cobalt Kinetics A5 Buffer Kit 6.83 oz Black Anodized

Cobalt Kinetics A5 Buffer Features The Cobalt Kinetics A5 Buffer is machined from aluminum and finished in a durable black anodized coating that resists wear from repeated cycling inside the buffer tube. At 6.83 ounces the buffer s weight is matched to the A5 length system which uses a longer spring and tube than a standard carbine buffer to slow bolt velocity and smooth the cycling impulse. This combination reduces the sharp recoil pulse associated with shorter carbine systems giving the shooter a softer more controllable platform on target. The buffer is built for rifle fit applications aligning with Cobalt Kinetics broader approach to tuned performance oriented AR components. This buffer is sold as part of a kit that also includes a Cobalt and VLTOR co-developed A5-CK buffer tube and an A5 length spring giving builders every part needed to convert a standard carbine stock system to the A5 configuration in one purchase. Having the buffer tube and spring sourced together helps ensure the components are matched for proper function rather than mixing parts from different buffer length standards. The black anodized finish keeps the component visually consistent with most black AR builds while standing up to range use and field conditions. For AR-15 owners seeking smoother recoil control the Cobalt Kinetics A5 Buffer kit is a straightforward upgrade path to the A5 system.
