Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg Complete Upper Features The Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Urg upper is chambered specifically in .300 AAC Blackout a cartridge designed to perform well in both short barrel lengths and with suppressors making the 7.50 inch barrel on this upper a natural match for the caliber. This short barrel length keeps the overall platform compact and maneuverable well suited for close quarters use a short barreled rifle build or a compact pistol configuration. The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish on the receiver provides a durable corrosion resistant coating that holds up to field use while giving the upper a distinctive non-black appearance. Cobalt Kinetics builds its uppers to run reliably across the range of .300 AAC Blackout loads from subsonic rounds optimized for suppressed shooting to full power supersonic loads for greater range. Pairing this upper with a suppressor is a common use case for .300 AAC Blackout shooters since the cartridge was designed from the outset with suppressed fire in mind and the compact barrel length supports that role well. Builders looking to complete a short barreled rifle or AR pistol project in .300 AAC Blackout can drop this upper onto a compatible lower to quickly assemble a complete firearm. The Flat Dark Earth finish also allows builders to match or contrast with other Cerakote finished components on their rifle for a cohesive custom look.
