Approx. 5,000 mfg., with a smaller number actually issued by the U.S. Army to the Philippine Constabulary (Police) Force (not to be confused with the Philippine Scouts, which were part of the U.S. Army), markings: "R.A.C." on left side of frame, 1902 date on right side of frame near grips, large "U.S." on right side of frame below cylinder, hard rubber grips. A Small chip on the right grip panel very common to the hard rubebr grips, this firearm had been refinished at some time in its life.
