Colt Combat Elite Government 9mm 5" 9-Round Pistol

The Colt Combat Elite Government is a full-size 1911-platform semi-automatic pistol in 9mm Luger, built for duty or defensive use. Its stainless steel frame and slide carry a two-tone PVD finish that is corrosion resistant, which suits regular carry.

The pistol has a 5-inch barrel, an overall length of 8.5 inches, and a 9-round capacity. It uses a Novak Night front sight and a Novak Low Mount Carry rear sight. Controls include an ambidextrous extended thumb safety, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and a Series 80 firing pin safety. The solid aluminum trigger is rated at 4.5 to 6 pounds from the factory. A Colt Dual Spring Recoil System is listed to reduce felt recoil.
