Colt Competition 1911 45 ACP 5" Optics Ready Pistol Stainless

The Colt Competition Optics-Ready is a 1911-platform pistol chambered in .45 ACP and built for timed and precision shooting. Its stainless steel construction resists corrosion, and the frame is fitted with custom G10 grips, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and an undercut trigger guard intended to keep the pistol low in the hand.

The pistol has a 5-inch barrel, described as a National Match barrel, with Novak adjustable fiber optic front and rear sights. It uses a single action trigger and a dual recoil spring system. It weighs 2.25 pounds and holds 8 rounds. The receiver is optics ready through Colt's Versatile Optic Plate System, and optic adapter plates are sold separately.
