Colt 1911 Competition SS 9mm Luger 5" Stainless Pistol

The Colt Competition SS Series 70 is a full-size 1911-platform semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, built for competition shooting and precision work. Its stainless steel construction resists corrosion, and the frame is finished in silver.

The pistol has a 5-inch National Match barrel and Novak adjustable fiber optic sights, a front post and adjustable rear, for precision aiming. It weighs 2.25 pounds and holds 9 rounds. The single-action trigger uses the Series 70 firing system, and the dual recoil spring system is intended to reduce felt recoil. Custom G10 grips, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and an undercut trigger guard keep the pistol low in the hand. The grips and controls are ambidextrous.
